STRUGGLES

My beautiful Dwarf Gourami's, who were meant to be centerpiece fish, are fucking murderers. They are evil. Peaceful community fish my ass these things are brimming with violence!!!

The beautiful rock that I got for pretty cheap is a PH+ buffer and it has been a literal year long struggle to stabilize the water at a neutral 7.0. IT'S MY OWN FAULT!!!

130 Litre/30 Gallon Tank

After a long, long time out of the hobby I saved up all my pennies and wooden nickles and over the course of a year Accumulated all the necessary gear to get a 30 gallon up and running! I was on a VERY tight budget when I started this badboy like 4 years ago, with a Not Very Good But Servicable Aqua One light and the cheapest airpump money could buy to run a spongefilter, but it did ok! Having a kinda wretched light limited my plant choices & growth, but planted aquariums are a lot easier to maintain than non-planted, so my assorted creatures did ok! As it goes in the rental life, I had to move about 2 yrs into the tank's life, and it was never the same after the move, which meant it was time to save up my pennies and revamp it!
